The Figtree U/10 Div 1side met Bondi Utd in the Grand Final of FNSW Champions of Champions 2009 at Valentine Park on Sunday 25th Oct 2009.
 
Figtree went into the game undefeated this season but unfortunately were totally outplayed by Bondi Utd going down 6-1. Bondi play a brand of football far above their years, which is shown by them having 4 team members make it through to the Project 22 program at FNSW. They too were undefeated this year in their competition. Our Congratulations go out to Bondi United players, coach & parents.

However, hearty congratulations must also go out to the FJSC boys, coaches & parents. They can hold their heads high in reaching the Grand Final in their first year of graded football and will surely benefit greatly for the experience.
