Since there has been little football of late, a lot of you may not have noticed yet the new addition to our club. We are now the proud owners of 6 new light poles on Harry Graham Park which I must say look fantastic as you drive down Wallawa St. The lights will be commissioned soon and will be ready for the official unveiling in the 2010 season.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped in this project so far, in particular Dino Oppio, Bryan Scott & Kenley Leussink who have put in tremendous hours of work to get us to where we are now. I will be publishing a full list of volunteers soon, however these 3 do deserve a pat on the back.

Thank you guys, it is unbelievable thing you have done for our club. It is only with volunteers that we get things done & on behalf of the club, thanks. This project has been going for 3½ years now & to see it so close to completion is one of the greatest buzzes that you can have. This is a project that will benefit every player in our club, whether it is for training or playing under.

If you see these guys around, give them a pat on the back. They deserve it.
